Requests for Unit Presence

A hometown military presence has been a long tradition in community parades. Troops in formation or vehicles pay tribute to the community’s investment in national defense. Organizations must certify that attendance and/or membership in the organization is not limited on the grounds of race, religion, creed, color or ethnic background.

This service is provided at no cost to your organization, but is subject to approval based on availability of units and adherence to National Guard Public Affairs Guidelines. Requests for Troops in formation or vehicles are required 90 days before the event. Complete a DD Form 2536 (Request for Armed Forces Participation in Public Events).
