Judge Advocate General (JAG) Office

The Staff Judge Advocate General (JAG) Office serves as the legal advisor to the Adjutant General, Headquarters staff, and commanders of the Maryland National Guard units throughout the State rendering formal legal opinions as to criminal, international, operational, administrative, and contract law. Additionally, providing advice and counsel on major policies and interpreting statues, regulations, and court decisions.
