​​​Chief Master Sergeant Shane A. Price 

CMSgt Shane Allen Price is the thirteenth Maryland Air National Guard State Command Chief. He serves as the key enlisted advocate and advisor to the Adjutant General and the Assistant Adjutant General for Air for the state of Maryland on enlisted issues concerning training, readiness, morale, welfare, and proper utilization and the professional development of the Maryland Air National Guard's enlisted force consisting of over 1400 Airmen. ​

CMSgt Price was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He enlisted in the Maryland Air National Guard in June 1996 and completed Air Force Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in March 1997.  Upon completion of Aerospace Maintenance Technical Training located at Sheppard AFB, Texas and Little Rock AFB, Arkansas he then reported to the Maryland Air National Guard. He began his career assigned to the 135th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron as an Aircraft Mechanic until 2005. During the remainder of his time in maintenance, he held numerous roles and leadership positions; he worked as a Flight Line Production Supervisor, Flight Chief and Accessories Maintenance Flight Supervisor. His maintenance career included various deployments and operations to include serving in Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, DEEP FREEZE, CORONET OAK and JOINT ENTERPRISE. In 2013, he joined the 175th Cyberspace Operations Group and held the positions of the 276th Cyberspace Operations Squadron Superintendent and Cyberspace Operations Group Superintendent, leading 190 enlisted members from June of 2017 until June 2021.
